4 QUICK TIPS: things you may want to do when you get a new DigiSignature™:
1. Remove files from e-mail:
Save the folder to your computer on the desktop, or in a folder
on your hard drive (you will be asked to locate these files on your
computer, or you will copy and paste text from them).
2. Decompress the folder: Double-click the folder
labeled “YourCompanyDigiSignature.zip.” This will open
a new window with a folder inside of it – drag that folder,
or copy and paste that folder into the same place as the .zip file
(you are taking the contents of the .zip out – these are the
actual files you want to use when creating your DigiSignature™
– it’s very easy.
3. For Microsoft Outlook™ and Outlook Express™
2003 and Older, all you have to do is browse to the file,
“YourCompanyDigiSignature.html,” and the program will
do the rest. (show me). For
Microsoft Outlook 2007, you have to do something a little
different (show me).
VERY
IMPORTANT NOTE: E-mail providers may support Rich Text
/ HTML signatures, but might not have Web interfaces to allow you
to create one, therefore 3rd Party Desktop E-mail Client Applications
like Microsoft Outlook™, and similar such e-mail clients are
ideal for DigiSignature™. They are the standard in business
for sending e-mail, and provide you with the most powerful e-mail
authoring tools - specifically RICH TEXT SIGNATURE FEATURES. Yahoo
Mail Classic™, is a great example of an effective Web E-mail
Client that provides users with true creative freedom with its Web
interface. Yahoo Mail Classic™ is setup to handle DigiSignatures™,
and is extremely easy to use. We commend Yahoo Mail™ for these
features because users want them. Gmail™, AOL™, and
Hotmail™ provide text-only e-mail signatures.

Outlook 2003 eliminates the signature picker found in previous Outlook versions. It is necessary for the user to select a signature as a default as there is no function in Outlook 2003 to insert a signature once the email form has been initiated. The question is what do you do once the default signature has been inserted and it's not the signature that you want to use? Actually the procedure is rather simple once you know how to do it.
To change the signature to an alternative signature in 2003:
1. Right click somewhere in the inserted default signature. A shortcut selection will appear.
2. Select the signature of your choice. The default signature will be replaced by the alternative that you select.
4)
Load a new DigiSignature™ into Microsoft Outlook 2007™:
(XP & Vista) - Microsoft Outlook 2007™ has the same process
for selecting signatures as Microsoft Outlook 2003™ (see above).
Microsoft Outlook 2007™ has a different method for creating
HTML DigiSignatures. Try the COPY AND PASTE
METHOD in the Yahoo Setup Below (starting at step 6 once you get
into Microsoft's signature setup below using steps 1-3, do not save
and follow the paste instructions - it's simple), or follow
these steps:
To add a signature to Microsoft Outlook 2007™:
1. Go to Tools, then Select options, then select the Mail Format
Tab up top.
2. Now Select the Signatures button. When the new window opens,
select New, and give it a descriptive new name (ex.: CompanyXDigiSignature1).
Then, in the entry box below in plain text, just type your name,
press the Save button.
3. Now you have a new signature file saved, and it is time to find
it on your computer to paste the DigiSignature code in it. This
process is simple, and only takes a few seconds. Open the DigiSignature
file we sent you that ends in .html using this method: Right-Click
on the file, select Open With, and select the plain Text Editor.
4. Now you must open Windows Explorer and locate the following folder:
(WINDOWS XP and Earlier: C:\Documents and Settings\(YourUserFolder)\Application
Data\Microsoft\Signatures -- WINDOWS VISTA: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures.
In this folder you will find three files all having the same name
as the signature you just created. You are only concerned with the
one ending in ".htm" (ex: CompanyXDigi.htm). Right-Click on it,
and select Open With, and once again select the plain Text Editor. (NOTE: if you do not find this folder it is because it's hidden. If so, in your folder view select Tools (if this is not shown, click on Organize in the top left corner, select Layout and then Menu Bar. You will now see Tools up top). In the Tools menu select Folder Options, then select General, then Navigation Pane and click the checkbox for Show All Folders. Then under the View Tab, click on Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives - remember to uncheck this after installation if you do not want these folders available.)
5. Now copy all of the text in the supplied .html DigiSiganture
file, and replace the contents of the .htm file leaving nothing
that was there before, and only everything from the file we supplied
you.
6. Select Save in the Text Editor (you are just updating the file
when you do this).
7. Now go back to Outlook, and go back to your signatures edit window (step 2). Select the name of the DigiSiganture you want to finish installing. You will see it in the preview window. Left-click once anywhere in the the preview window to activate the DigiSignature. Notice SAVE is not available - select SAVE.
8. On the right side after you have saved your DigiSignature(s) to complete installation, you can select the account and which DigiSignature should show for new messages and replies.
9. When you go back to Microsoft Outlook 2007™, you will see
the same signature file, except now it will be your new DigiSignature!
(See what it looks like click here.)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
When you reply to or forward mail messages they will be in the format
of the original email. If you are replying to non-HTML mail the
DigiSignature™ won't display properly unless you set the format
for your reply to HTML every time. If someone does view your signature without images turned on, they will see your information with the image stripped out. It will look like a basic text signature, and have the same contact information as the graphical version.

If you do not want a full web site, or a mini Splash-Site™,
we can create a branded Landing Page for you. This page will bring
visitors to a page containing whatever it is that you would like
them to see. We can make your ideas come to life on the Web, even
just with a single page. You can even just use it to capture
information with a custom form. The possibilities are endless!
